About Weather
East African Include Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda Rwanda have a temperate climate. Summers are sunny and hot, while winters are cooler, but not cold. Temps average between 23’C – 28’C (77-84 degrees Fahrenheit). The weather is divided by two mega seasons. Dry, July, August, Oct, November. Dec is the short rains for one month. Dry again until Mid march where will be beginning of the long rain in the month of April & May. Some of the lodges and camps are closed during this time but we operate all year round and that does not affect the experience as we have experts guide who know how to deal with that.

Best time to East Africa
Best time to Travel in E.A for wildlife experience is the month of Dec to March and End of May to Nov. The reason is that in the months of Nov is the rains and April and May is the long rains. The Great wildebeest migration is all year round and the recommended place is the Serengeti National Park.

Getting around East Africa
The easiest way to get around East Africa is by air. It isn’t the cheapest option but saves a lot of slog and increases your enjoyment of your safari. If you have a medium budget, then consider getting a private guide and vehicle for your East Africa safari. Or combine with some flying to save time. For those with limited wallets, a great way to see East Africa is on a scheduled tour. This means a total of 7 people per safari vehicle (window seat for everyone!)

Visa Requirements
Most nationalities require visas to the East African countries We recommend you to get your Visa before living your country though you may be able to get it at the airports. Kenya visa will cost $50 per person. Tanzania visas cost from $100 for most nationalities. Uganda visa will cost $50 and Rwanda is a bit different as follow, In view of the bilateral agreements, the Nationals of the following Countries may visit Rwanda without visa for a period up to 90 days: USA, Germany, Tanzania, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Uganda, Mauritius, South Africa, Kenya, Great Britain, Sweden, Singapore, Hong Kong and Burundi.
The visitor’s visa should not be used for employment .There are courtiers that are exempt from visas or that need special clearance so we recommend you check with your local embassy before travel to E.A

Inoculations and Malaria
All travelers to East Africa are required to have Yellow Fever inoculations. This needs to be done at least 10 days before you leave home. Malaria is prevalent in all the East African countries, please contact your doctor for advice before travel as most malaria tablets need to be taken up to a week before travel

While the East African countries all have their own currencies, most tourist attractions are priced in US Dollars. Our recommendation is to take US Dollars with you for spending money and visa costs and change small amounts into local currency if needed. We recommend traveling with small bills as well.

International Flights
The main ports of entry to East Africa are Nairobi Airport in Kenya and Dar es Salaam or Kilimanjaro airports in Tanzania. There are daily flights into each of the main airports from London, Amsterdam and Johannesburg. You can fly directly into Entebbe in Uganda from Johannesburg and Amsterdam.
